The title of the episode foreshadows these encounters, similar to how the title of the first episode, Unexpected Departure, foreshadows the several key events that make it up. Kingdom Hearts Dark Road episode 2 is titled "Presence of Darkness," and it chronicles Xehanort's encounters with the Queen of Hearts. Now, the group plans on exploring a new place for more clues, and it's led them to the bizarre world of Wonderland. Their goal was to locate a group of upperclassmen that suddenly went missing, and their first venture brought them to Agrabah, where they found tentative leads related to what could have happened to their targets. The conclusion of the Union X series won’t be the end of the Kingdom Hearts saga, however, as new games are in the works to continue the legacy of the Keyblade Masters. Now, fans are relieved to find out that Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road will be coming out finally this year. The game was derailed when Square Enix announced that Dark Road will be delayed indefinitely back in September 2021. Players can even play with friends in real-time multiplayer quests, allowing players to enjoy Kingdom Hearts in a way not possible in the mainline games. The more friendly nature of the game allows for the title to focus more on story than skills. Union X is a more bite-sized and more casual mobile game compared to the more action-oriented gameplay of the mainline series.
